The addition to Columbia Elementary expands the school’s facilities with a new gymnasium, music room, classrooms, and restrooms. This single-story addition features open-web steel joists (OWSJ) supported by CMU bearing walls at the gymnasium, while the classroom areas utilize OWSJ supported by steel beams and columns. The design provides durable, functional spaces to support the school’s growing educational and community needs.
